We are a reputable domiciliary care company with a 'GOOD' CQC rating, supporting our clients to live their lives their way. We cover Chelmsford, Billericay, Ingatestone, Brentwood and surrounding areas.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide essential support in a home care environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being is a priority. For this role, you will need to have effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a caring nature.

Duties

  1. Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
  3. Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs according to individual care plans.
  4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised living environment.
  5. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  7. Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as required.
  8. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior management.

Skills

  1. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear communication.
  2. Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence.
  3. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating via digital platforms.
  4. Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and their families.
  6. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of those you assist.

Weekly Schedule

  1. Mornings 0700-1600
  2. Evenings 1600-2300
  3. Alternate weekends working (essential)

FAST TRACK interviews available, and if successful, you will start as soon as possible... subject to references and DBS (as with any reputable care provider).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour
