We are seeking one enthusiastic and dynamic Project Officer to join the Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAF) until March 2026. We hope the programme will extend beyond March 2026; however, it is dependent on government funding. If you have a passion for delivering projects and working with families on food, nutrition, and physical activity, then this role is for you.
The post holder will coordinate the delivery of HAF across a large rural county, ensuring providers are compliant with the Department for Education's framework and high standards of delivery for primary and secondary aged pupils. The team will work together to further expand the project and support partners across Lincolnshire in facilitating the delivery of the HAF programme.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues within the Council, health professionals, leisure providers, education establishments, and the voluntary sector to deliver this programme.
This is a pivotal role communicating key health messages to improve the health of children and young people across Lincolnshire. We are looking for a team player with innovative ideas to reach the target audience using various communication methods.
It is essential that applicants possess excellent communication, presentation, organisation, and planning skills. The role will involve working to deadlines in order to further develop and expand the HAF provision across Lincolnshire.
