Job description

This school is a vibrant and inclusive school committed to providing a high-quality education for all its children. They are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the team and support their Year 4 class.


In this role, you will support and teach the Year 4 class in the afternoons, assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons. You will provide one-on-one and small group support to students, help manage classroom behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment. Additionally, you will prepare and organise teaching materials and resources, monitor and assess the children's progress, and provide feedback to the class teacher. Your efforts will foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all children.


What you'll need to succeed
  1. HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  2. Experience working with primary school children, particularly in Year 4.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
  5. Passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
  6. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

You will be paid £100-£120 per day (depending on experience). We will support you by looking for more roles when this role ends. Local work is available to you in the West Midlands.
