Job Description:

Career Teachers are seeking an experienced HLTA – Higher Level Teaching Assistant (QTS not required for this role) at a fantastic primary school in Greenwich, South London! This is a full-time role, beginning in September 2024.

As a HLTA, you will be responsible for teaching all national curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, Music, and Physical Education. You will plan curriculum-aligned lessons, create a safe and motivating classroom environment, monitor student progress, provide feedback, implement behaviour expectations, assess assignments and tests, and communicate with parents and school leaders.

Qualifications and Experience:

We seek passionate HLTAs with expertise in teaching methods, effective communication, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. Candidates must be dedicated to creating ideal learning conditions, safeguarding children, and proficient in office software. Positive, outgoing, and compassionate traits are essential. You must have:

1. An Undergraduate Education Degree or equivalent with QTS OR a relevant HLTA qualification
2. Previous in-school teaching experience
3. Fluency in English, both spoken and written
