HLTA - Year 5 - Intervention & Cover Role - Full-Time - Feltham - Summer Term

A welcoming and inclusive 2-form entry primary school in Feltham is seeking a confident and experienced HLTA to join their team from April through to the end of the summer term. This full-time position will involve a mix of Year 5 class cover and delivering targeted intervention support to small groups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teacher or a qualified HLTA looking to take on more responsibility in a well-supported environment.

The Role

1. Covering lessons in Year 5 when teachers are attending training or on PPA
2. Delivering intervention sessions in reading, writing and maths to boost pupil progress
3. Working closely with the Year 5 class teachers and phase lead to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
4. Supporting pupils with SEND and EAL, helping to narrow the attainment gap
5. Ensuring consistent behaviour expectations and creating a positive learning atmosphere

The Offer

1. Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm
2. £105 - £115 per day (PAYE - no umbrella companies)
3. Ongoing support from Tradewind consultants who work closely with the school
4. Access to free CPD through our partnership with the National College

Requirements

1. HLTA qualification or substantial UK classroom experience
2. Confident leading whole-class lessons and working independently
3. Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
4. Available full-time for the entire summer term
