The Evaluation and Insights team supports health and care teams across our region to understand the impact of introducing innovations. The primary function of the evaluation and insights team is to advise on and deliver real-world evaluation of innovations to understand their impact on patients, staff and the healthy economy to understand the potential value of their wider adoption. This can take a variety of forms, such as rapid insight generation, evidence synthesis, mixed methods service evaluation and health economic analysis.
The key responsibility of the Senior Evaluation Manager is to lead qualitative, quantitative and mixed-methods evaluations of innovative technologies, pathways and approaches in health and care. They will also advise partners on evaluation methods and lead a team of mixed-methods evaluation researchers.
The post holder will lead a defined set of evaluation and insights activity to have real impact on health and healthcare by supporting our partnership to gather insights on how and why solutions are successful, articulate impact and understand what innovation to scale.
The Health Innovation West of England is one of 15 Health Innovations across England, established by NHS England to spread proven health innovation at pace and scale. We connect and collaborate with our local NHS and care organisations and universities, and with industry partners, the third sector, and researchers to support transformation across whole health and social care systems, with a clear focus on improving outcomes for citizens.
