Mediplacements are looking for a skilled and experienced band 5 Histology Biomedical Scientist to fill an ongoing locum role in our client's laboratory based in Edinburgh. This position is due to start as soon as possible with a pay rate of up to £19 per hour.

Job Description:

Animal Section Cutting (HCPC not essential)

1. 3 months
2. Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
3. Small Team working with the Pathologist
4. Research and Education on Animal Cells (Live Stock - Sheep, Cow, etc.)

The successful candidate must have experience with histology techniques such as embedding, sectioning, staining, and reporting of histology specimens. They must also be familiar with the use of a range of laboratory equipment and be able to troubleshoot and maintain them as required.
