Position: Permanent

Job Title: Part-time Child-friendly Housekeeper

Location: Cobham, Surrey

Number of Children: B2 and baby girl due in May

Pets: Cat

Salary: £19 gross per hour - £15,808 gross per annum

Holiday: Statutory paid holiday

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Required: Tuesday and Thursday - 9am to 5pm (possible flexibility on days)

Driver: A driver with own car is required

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and organised part-time Housekeeper to support our family home in Cobham, Surrey. This role is primarily focused on housekeeping (around 90%), with some light childcare responsibilities (around 10%) as needed.

You will be working in a three-bedroom home alongside a friendly and welcoming family, including a 2-year-old boy and a baby girl due in May. A fortnightly cleaner is also employed. Mum will be starting maternity leave soon, so occasional childcare support may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • General housekeeping, including cleaning, tidying, and organisation
  • Laundry: Washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and bedding
  • Meal planning, cooking, and batch cooking
  • Washing up and keeping the kitchen tidy
  • Food shopping and running household errands
  • Keeping on top of household chores to ensure a well-maintained home
  • Ad-hoc childcare when needed (e.g. occasional nursery pickups or babysitting for appointments)
