Hire Controller

Hire Controller / Service Coordinator / Rental Support Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier in Bracknell.
The successful Hire Controller / Service Coordinator / Rental Support Engineer will provide logistical support and organisation of day-to-day operations within the rental department.

Role:

• Provide logistical support and organisation of day-to-day operations within the pump rental department.
• Organise transport and transport records to ensure the smooth collection and rental of pump equipment, services, and related products/services.
• Liaise with various engineering departments, for example, sales, service, projects, finance, procurement, and more to ensure smooth running of branch rental operations.
• Be in daily contact with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience as a hire controller, rental controller, rental coordinator, equipment controller, service coordinator, hire coordinator, technical support engineer, logistics planner, transport controller, service planner, rental planner, or similar administrative support role.
• Administrative, logistical, and support experience ideally within an engineering industry.
• Good planning and organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various engineering departments.
• Any technical knowledge of pumps, pump systems, or related mechanical engineering rental equipment would be highly advantageous.
• Strong level of IT competency including the ability to work with booking systems, Excel spreadsheets, and more.
• Must be commutable to the office near Bracknell.
