An established industry player is seeking an inspection professional with a background in highways or related fields. About the job.
Do you have an inspection background in highways or a related area and looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy being out on site but would like a regular daytime working pattern and more freedom to manage your own workload? Reporting to the Inspector Team Manager, you will work individually or with another team member to complete asset condition and safety inspections, survey works and providing feedback on quality of asset repairs.
Working patterns can be flexible by agreement with the team manager but contractually your working hours per week will be 37 hours. There is also a requirement which may involve working unsociable hours, including nights, to respond to incidents.
Please note that you will be required to drive as part of your role, and you will need to have no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.
Ideally you should live within an hour's commute from the Depot.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
