Job Description:

We are working with a local authority situated in Central England in their search for a Development Control Manager (Highways Planning) who can oversee a team of Transport Planners.

This role is responsible for managing and providing technical expertise for assessing highway implications for planning applications on behalf of the Local Authority.

You'll be responsible for representing the highway authority to internal and external stakeholders and council members, and attending the planning committee.

• This role lands Inside IR35 and is contracted initially for 6-12 months with an outlook on extension.
