Higher Level Teaching Assistant - SEN
Protocol Education are working alongside Weston-Super-Mare based SEN Schools to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for its dedicated Curriculum Support Team.
Working Hours: 08.30 - 15.30
Start: ASAP
The schools are easily accessible from Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol, Nailsea, Clevedon.
The Role
As a HLTA, you must be prepared to work flexibly to support all students who require support, including those with SEND. You will liaise with students, teachers, parents, SENCO, and occasionally, other external professionals. You will be expected to guide and manage individuals and groups for interventions. Under the direction of a teacher, you may be required to manage whole classes. The successful candidate will be able to plan and deliver effective learning activities as well as assess, record, and report on pupils' progress.
