Academics Ltd are actively looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a vibrant school in Cheltenham. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic team dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment. Job Details:

  1. Higher Level Teaching Assistant
  2. ASAP Start
  3. Primary Mainstream School
  4. £80 - £100 per day
  5. Cheltenham
  6. Full - Time 8:30am – 3:30pm
  7. DBS (Or willing to apply for one)
  8. Must have prior Teaching Assistant experience
  9. Potential Future Teaching Training Opportunities

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Providing support to small groups of students or individuals who need extra support
  2. Monitoring students' progress and collaborating with teachers, parents, and carers to discuss development
  3. Independently teaching classes, especially in the absence of teachers due to illness or leave
  4. Setting up classrooms for lessons and gathering books and handouts for students
  5. Planning and delivering learning and enrichment activities, either with guidance from the teacher or individually
