Job description

Prospero Teaching is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a lovely school in Weston-Super-Mare.

As a HLTA, you will be involved with:

1. Delivering lessons planned by the class teacher where needed.
2. Supporting the learning and development of pupils across various key stages.
3. Working collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning needs.
4. Assisting with classroom preparation, resource development, and maintaining a safe, organised learning environment.
5. Being part of a team committed to creating a positive learning experience for all children.

Hours: Standard working hours 8.30am-3.30pm (times may vary).

Essential & Desirable Qualifications/requirements:

1. HLTA status (Essential)
2. Experience in a similar role (desirable)

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

1. Hold right to work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide references upon request
4. Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
