Job description

Job: HIAB Engineer

Location: Dartford

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday days (45-hour week)

Benefits: Overtime paid at 1.5 + van & fuel card

About your new company:

My client is a large Crane Manufacturer seeking a skilled HIAB Engineer to join their ever-growing team based in Kent.

About your new HIAB Engineering role:

  1. Conduct thorough examinations of lorry loader cranes and hydraulic equipment to LOLER standards
  2. Perform fault diagnostics, both mechanical and electrical
  3. Carry out on-site repairs when possible
  4. Visiting customer sites attending to breakdowns

What you’ll need to succeed for this HIAB Engineer role:

  1. Previous experience with lorry loader cranes (ideal but not essential, as training is provided)
  2. A background in mechanical/electrical or hydraulic systems (forklift, plant, etc. experience is advantageous)
  3. LOLER certification and experience
  4. Electrical testing and diagnosis experience
  5. Hydraulic systems knowledge
  6. Full UK driving licence
