Category 2, HGV2, LGV2, CAT C, CLASS 2 Pallet Network Driver - Temporary to Permanent - Portsmouth

Rate of Pay: GBP15.95 + Per Hour (10 hours minimum)

Immediate Start Available

Contract Type: Temporary Contract (Possible Temp to Perm)

Contract Length: 12 weeks / ongoing / ad-hoc

Hours of Work: 7.00am - 5.00pm

Availability Required: Monday - Friday / Ad-Hoc / Weekend

Role and Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
• Carry out effective communications
• Complete walk-around checks on vehicles
• Secure loads
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Follow health and safety measures while driving
• Navigate to customer sites
• Check orders for completeness and customer satisfaction
• Exhibit good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Prioritize and work on your own initiative under pressure
• Previous driving experience in a similar role is beneficial
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Ability to work effectively within a team

Skills and Experience:

• Clean Licence (No more than 6 points permitted)
• HGV2, LGV2, Class 2 Licence (REQUIRED)
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A drive and enthusiasm to seize opportunities
• At least 1 year of experience in the Transport and Logistics Industry
• Must hold an HGV Class 2 licence (NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS)
• Positive attitude and self-motivation are essential
• Good customer service skills for dealing with end customers
• Previous experience within a pallet network as an HGV Driver, willing to carry out multi-drop work
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
