Key Responsibilities:

1. Take charge as the HGV Workshop Manager, overseeing all aspects of workshop operations.
2. Manage a team of technicians and mechanics, ensuring efficiency and quality in all repairs.
3. Oversee the maintenance and repair of HGVs and municipal vehicles to meet high standards.
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
5. Implement and maintain an effective fleet maintenance schedule.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure fleet availability meets operational demands.
7. Maintain comprehensive records of repairs, inspections, and stock levels.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a workshop management role, particularly with HGVs or municipal vehicles.
2. Strong technical knowledge of HGV maintenance, repair processes, and diagnostics.
3. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
4. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
5. Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
