Qualifications
- Experience as HGV Fitter, Mechanic, or REME engineer is essential.
- Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle maintenance and repair required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and perform inspections and servicing.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults on a range of vehicles.

HGV Technician
Salary: 46-48K, days, no shifts, Monday to Friday, weekly pay, modern clean working environment
Technician Location: Huddersfield
Due to upscaling business, the company is looking to bring in a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician. The successful HGV Technician will be working with a forward-thinking company that invests in their workforce as well as offering future opportunities for progression.
To be successful in this role you may have worked as either:
- HGV Fitter or HGV Mechanic
- Heavy Goods Vehicle mechanic
- Truck fitter or Lorry mechanic
- REME engineer
- Hold a level 3 in Heavy Vehicle maintenance and repair
Duties of the HGV Technician role:
- MOT Preparation
- Inspecting, servicing, and commissioning a range of vehicles
- Fault finding, diagnosing, and rectifying mechanical faults
