HGV Technician

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £42k

Position Type: HGV Workshop Technician - Professional

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 7am to 5pm or 8am to 6pm

1. Perform maintenance and repair on HGV Trucks and Trailers, including tail lift maintenance.
2. Conduct MOT preparations and servicing of engines, along with trailer repairs.
3. Carry out moving deck repairs and diagnostics using up-to-date vehicle and trailer diagnostics equipment.
4. Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
5. Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets.
6. Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).
7. Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately.
8. Report all vehicle defects.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workshop facilities, equipment, and tools.
10. Support the development of trainees and apprentices.
