Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team in Dukinfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for MOT preparation, servicing, inspection, and preventative maintenance on heavy and light goods vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs and LGVs.
2. Conduct MOT preparation and ensure all vehicles meet DVSA standards.
3. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
4. Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce vehicle downtime.
5. Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of HGV and LGV maintenance.
3. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
4. A Class 1 licence is beneficial but not essential.

Working Hours & Benefits:

1. Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM - 18:00 PM (47.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
2. Alternate Saturdays: 07:00 AM - 12:00 PM (paid at 1.5x rate).
3. Competitive salary starting at £39,500 per annum (depending on experience).
4. 28 days of annual leave (including bank holidays).
