Qualifications
- Experience as an HGV Fitter, Mechanic, or similar role.
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle maintenance required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and perform inspections.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults in various vehicles.

Job description
HGV Technician
Salary: £46-48K, days, no shifts, Monday to Friday, weekly pay, modern clean working environment.
Technician Location: Huddersfield.
Due to upscaling business, the company is looking to bring in a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician. The successful HGV Technician will be working with a forward-thinking company that invests in their workforce as well as offering future opportunities for progression.
To be successful in this role, you may have worked as either:
- HGV Fitter
- HGV Mechanic
- Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic
- Truck Fitter
- Lorry Mechanic
- REME Engineer
Hold a level 3 in Heavy Vehicle maintenance and repair.
Duties of the HGV Technician role:
- MOT Preparation
- Inspecting, servicing, and commissioning a range of vehicles
- Fault finding, diagnosing, and rectifying mechanical faults
