Hours: 40 hours per week Day shift Monday - Friday

What you'll be doing;

• Repair and maintain the Veolia Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
  
• Run diagnostics on vehicles using a range of equipment.
  
• Hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics, engine & aftertreatment diagnostics and repairs.
  
• Other general work as required by the Workshop Management Team.
  
• Work within Health & Safety regulations and be responsible for your safety and those around you.
  
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork, and time sheets and parts used on the job are allocated and completed accurately.
  
• Carry out HGV MOT inspections, quality checks and preparations.
  
• Complete roadside repairs when necessary.
  
• Be willing to assist & train in house apprentices and upskill technicians
  

What we're looking for;

• Previous experience working on waste disposal vehicles (desirable).
  
• Hold a HGV driving licence (desirable)
  
• Experience diagnosing complex electrical/hydraulic faults
  
• Must have own tools
  
• Hold a current IRTEC licence (desirable)
  
• Hold a level 3 in HGV maintenance and Repair or equivalent apprenticeship and time served
