Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established vehicle repair centre. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and competitive salary.

As an HGV Technician, you will be performing routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and trailers.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Performing Ministry Inspections both in the workshop and at customer sites.
  2. Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections, including pre-MOT assessments and presentations.
  3. Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on various commercial vehicles.
  4. Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults effectively.
  5. Assisting with roadside breakdowns when required.
  6. Offering flexibility with overtime work as necessary.

What we are looking for:

  1. Previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Trailer Technician, HGV Fitter, Truck Technician or in a similar role.
  2. Experience working in a busy workshop environment.
  3. Level 3 qualification in Heavy Goods.
  4. Valid UK driving licence.

Shift:

  1. Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 17:30
