Job description

Kolt Recruitment is recruiting for an HGV Technician for a large HGV dealership.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. To inspect, service and repair vehicles to a high maintenance standard.
  2. Prepare vehicles to DVSA standards.
  3. Prepare to be trained on all aspects of their products.
  4. To ensure all compliance details are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  5. To ensure all company vehicles are driven and operated at all times in accordance with road traffic law and company policy.
  6. To undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company.
  7. Ensure 'good housekeeping' in and around workstations.
  8. Provide high customer service levels whilst working to specified deadlines.
  9. Must adhere to the company's health & safety policies and procedures at all times.
  10. Highlight all potential business commercial opportunities to managers.
  11. Perform any other relevant duties as reasonably directed by Management.
Key Requirements:
  1. Level 3 HGV or equivalent - Time served will be considered.
  2. High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills.
  3. Have a customer and team centric mindset and high level of professionalism.
  4. Good organisational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
