HGV Mechanic

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a well-established used commercial vehicle dealership. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £20 per hour.

As an HGV Mechanic, you will be diagnosing faults and conducting detailed analysis to identify issues.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Performing preventative and routine maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability.
2. Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing to ensure compliance.
3. Carrying out servicing to maintain optimal performance.
4. Addressing general repairs and resolving minor mechanical issues.

What We Are Looking For:

1. Previously worked as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, HGV Fitter, Truck Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician or in a similar role.
2. Experience working on commercial vehicles.
3. Expertise in MOT work.
4. Skilled in repairing engines, clutches, gearboxes and brakes.
5. Possess class 1 licence.
