Experienced HGV Mechanic Required!

Hours: Monday to Friday - Regular Days - 37 hours per week

No weekend working, excellent work-life balance!

Salary: £18.25ph + outstanding benefits package + overtime

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing various types of machinery and vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our fleet and machinery, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
  3. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  4. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety standards.
  7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to improve repair techniques.

  1. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
