Job description

We are Expanding! Arla Foods currently have opportunities for a class 1 HGV driver at our Westbury Inbound Depot. Working as part of our Inbound Logistics team, you will collect raw milk from our Farmer Owners.

Do you hold a clean class 1 licence, Tacho Card and CPC? Then we want to hear from you!

What does the job entail? You are a motivated individual with a Class 1 License and a valid CPC, who knows about supply chain processes and sticking to health and safety rules. It’s therefore vital you can understand and read all signage, and communicate well with others, internal colleagues and external customers alike. What’s more, you’re as serious about quality as we are – because you will be seeing our Farmer owners.

You will join our Westbury Logistics Team, with our Operations manager, Shift Managers, Leading hands and our other HGV Drivers who are all working tirelessly helping to Feed the Nation.

This role is on a Rota basis; please be aware that the role does include weekend and Bank holiday working within your role. (Premium shift payments are made for these days.)

Night Positions: Hourly night rate of Monday to Friday - £19.46 ph, Saturday – £21.80 ph, Sunday - £22.63 ph, BH - £24.28 ph guaranteed 42hrs per week. Overtime shift payment payable for working additional shifts.

The shift pattern consists of 4 shifts on followed by 2 rest days.
