Salary: £28,072 - £32,605 + overtime + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of SSE's drive towards Net Zero by supporting our reinstatement teams looking to restore after underground faults. You may also have the opportunity to be involved with the repair and maintenance of overhead power lines, which will include removing and replacing poles and pole-mounted equipment.

You will have

• An HGV Class 2 License as this is required for this role.
• Experience operating a lorry mounted loader (HIAB) and Slinger/Signaller experience.
• Confidence to act on your own initiative and as part of a team, completing on-site risk assessments and lifting plans.
• Flexibility, as you may be required to form part of a call-out rota to attend to emergencies outside of normal working hours.
