About the role
The HGV driver / labourer is a member of the GSE division. The job function is to support and assist the engineering team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. To transport various Ground service equipment and parts on or around Heathrow airport, this may involve some deliveries and collections from other airports/locations.
2. Ensure that both workshop and yard are always kept clean and tidy, this will involve the use of an electrical floor cleaner.
3. Assist the engineering team with painting / washing of Ground service equipment.
4. Assist with oil and water and battery top ups as required.
5. Co-ordinate and rotate Ground service equipment parking in our yard to ensure maximum usage of available space.
6. Carry out any reasonable request made by Management / supervisory team.
7. Carry out minor repairs and maintenance on trailers / bag carts.
8. Assist the engineers with minor repairs / maintenance.

What we are looking for:

1. Must possess a Category C driving license.
2. Significant experience in recovery work.
3. Ability to obtain a Heathrow airside pass inc. DBS/CRC certificate.
4. A clean, Category B driving license.
5. Ability to pass and hold a valid forklift license.
6. A valid passport.
