HGV Driver

Location: Exeter & Bridgwater

Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour

Contract Length: 2 months

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team. The role involves driving a 7.5t vehicle to distribute construction materials between the site compound and work areas in Bridgwater, with the vehicle being returned to the Exeter depot each weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle to deliver construction materials between the site compound and work areas in Bridgwater.
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained and properly checked before and after each journey.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Transport goods in a timely and efficient manner.
• Return the vehicle to the Exeter depot at the end of each week.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including relevant paperwork and timesheets.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
• Full clean driving licence.
• Relevant category to drive a 7.5t vehicle.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and the ability to drive safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
