Job description

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and the operation of LGV vehicles collecting household waste and recycling from the residents of East Devon, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our Health and Safety rules at all times.

What are the requirements?

1. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
2. An LGV Category C licence as well as a valid CPC (DQC) card are essential.
3. Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable; however, it is not essential.
4. Experience of working with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCVs is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
