Qualifications

  • Must hold a Class 2 HGV licence and have an up-to-date CPC.
  • Experience in a public-facing role is preferred.

Salary: £13.62 per hour plus Veolia benefits

Hours: Guaranteed 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:45 am start. Finish times vary.

Location: Craven Arms, SY7 8NR

What you'll be doing:

  • Collecting recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties in Bridgnorth or Craven Arms areas
  • Driving as well as loading
  • Undertake vehicle defect checks
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including the security and weight of loads
  • Accurately recording work completed using an onboard tablet device and reporting any collection issues that arise
  • Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area
  • Assisting other Collection crews



What we're looking for:

  • Class 2 HGV licence
  • Up to date CPC
  • Digi / Tachograph card
  • Willingness and capability to do a mixed loading/driving role
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
  • Previous experience of working in a public-facing role
