HGV Class 2 Driver (Cement Mixer)

Job description

Gi Group are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers in Corby, NN18 required for immediate start.

Pay rate:

1. £15.00ph
2. £16.80ph with advanced holiday pay

Shifts:
Typical working day (average 10 hours per day) will be 07:00am to 17:00 Monday to Friday and Saturday between 07:00am - 12:00pm for overtime if required.

Experience preferred but not necessary as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take care of your vehicle and ensure it is cleaned through the working day and after each delivery.
2. Operate your vehicle efficiently and have a good geographical knowledge of the area.
3. Be punctual, have good communication skills with our clients and complete relevant paperwork.
4. Safety First - PPE to be worn and safety cautious at all times.
5. Readymix Concrete, Screed and Pump Provider - Suitable for a huge variety of jobs, from small domestic tasks to large commercial and agricultural.

Requirements:

1. Hold a current HGV Class 2 Licence, CPC and tachograph card.
2. Be enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused with the ability to maintain positive internal and external customer relationships.
3. Be punctual, have a good work ethic and communicate well.
4. Good geographical knowledge.
5. Be willing to learn new skills.
