HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver - Hoddesdon

We are currently recruiting for full-time HGV Class 2 drivers for permanent roles in our depot in Hoddesdon. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, with 8 to 15 drops per day using a tail lift and cages.

Must have: Experience and Class 2 license with a minimum of 1 year.

Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts available:

5 on 2 off (5 over 7, but one shift must include a weekend day)

Start between 3:30 am - 4:30 am

Day pay rates:

• Monday - Friday: £15.08 (overtime after 47.5 hrs: £16.96)
• Saturday: £16.96
• Sunday and Bank Holidays: £22.62

Nights pay rates:

• Monday - Friday: £17.23 (overtime after 47.5 hrs: £19.38)
• Saturday: £19.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays: £25.84

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In-date DIGI and CPC card.
• 2 years Class 2 experience.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful, and organized individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regulations and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
