HGV Class 2 Driver

Manpower are currently recruiting for a Class 2 ADR Delivery Driver for our client based in Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire.

Job Advert: Permanent HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Fenstanton

Salary: £29,500

Hours: Monday to Friday, with reduced hours in the off-peak season and longer hours during peak season.

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team in Fenstanton. This is a permanent opportunity to work with a leading supplier to the agricultural and horticultural sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver agricultural products such as farm chemicals, fertilizers, and seeds to various customers in the agricultural and horticultural industries.
2. Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with road safety regulations.
3. Work Monday to Friday, with flexibility required during peak season (longer hours) and reduced hours in the off-peak season.
4. Ensure accurate record-keeping and completion of delivery paperwork.
5. Deliver outstanding customer service by maintaining professional communication with clients.

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. HGV Class 2 Licence (essential).
2. ADR in Packages (preferred), as you will be handling and delivering farm chemicals and fertilizers.
3. Previous experience in driving and delivery in an agricultural or similar environment is beneficial.
4. Excellent driving skills, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
5. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
