Hgv Class 2 Driver

We are recruiting a number of HGV Class 2 for a well established company based in Bicester, delivering fresh produce to business customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete start-of-shift vehicle checks and report any defects or damage.
• Review your delivery route and ensure you have all required keys, PODs, and delivery guides.
• Verify all PODs for scheduled deliveries.
• Ensure legal compliance before starting your shift.
• Deliver goods to the correct storage areas (e.g. fridges/freezers) within customer premises.
• Handle all goods with appropriate care.
• Immediately report any delivery issues to the transport office.
• Use provided delivery software to record deliveries and capture photos.
• Complete end-of-day checks upon return to the depot.
• Refuel and clean vehicle as required.
• Return all equipment and documents (PODs, keys, devices).
• Complete necessary dispatch paperwork and download your digital tachograph card.

Key Requirements:

• Ensure vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with legal standards.
• Maintain security and accuracy of deliveries.
• Follow Safe Loading practices and adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with both external customers and internal teams.
• Follow all delivery instructions with accuracy and professionalism.
