HGV Class 1 driver Day and night

Challenge-trg are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client based in Peterborough PE7 3AG.

We are recruiting to cover AM & PM shift patterns.

AM start times: 04:00am-07:00am

Night start times: 16:00pm-19:00pm

7 day coverage with weekend shifts available.

Job Role

The job will consist of a variety of store work & trunking. Elements of Class 2 may be involved when required. Fridge experience required for clean work.

Rates

Days: £18.00 or £20.17

Nights: £19.00 or £21.29

What the HGV driver can expect:

• Weekly Pay
• Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours
• Hourly Pay
• 24-hour assistance night operation team

The Requirements from the HGV Class 1 Driver

• A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for a minimum of 1 year required
• A valid Drivers CPC Card
• A digital tachograph card
• A full understanding of WTD legislation
• Reliable and excellent timekeeping
• Flexible with start times & working days
