HGV Class 1 Driver

Our client in Banbury is looking for a HGV driver to support their operation as a cover driver. This role is predominantly driving HGV1 trunking vehicles. This will be 1-2 shifts per week.

Duties:

• Driving HGV1 vehicle as required to cover deliveries or trunking.
• Liaising with the Transport office team during your shift regarding jobs requiring completing.
• All vehicle checks completed to ensure the vehicle is safe to use.
• Driving in a safe, responsible manner on behalf of the client you are representing.
• Follow driver working time directive at all times.

Requirements:

• Hold HGV1 driving licence.
• Hold CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good Knowledge of working time directive.
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence.
• Good communication skills.

Pay:

• £20 per hour.

Schedule:

• Ad hoc – 1-3 shifts weekly.
• Start between 17:30pm-20:00pm.
