About The Role

Join Australia's largest automotive repair network at one of our leading heavy vehicle repair facilities. We're seeking skilled Body Builders/Fabricators to join our award-winning team at a renowned brand in the heavy vehicle smash repair industry.

You'll be part of our dynamic smash repair facility, using your skills to shape and restore heavy vehicle exteriors, contributing to the future of automotive excellence.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary £46,000 -£55,000 ($94,000-$112,000 AUD)
• Full relocation support
• Overtime paid at 1.5x base rate

Key Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage to determine repair work
• Fabricate, replicate and repair bodies of trailers, trucks and fridges
• Perform high-standard welding on repaired vehicles
• Coordinate with team members to ensure appropriate workflow
• Meet production timeframes
• Maintain equipment and tools

Requirements

• Bus body repair experience (Essential)
• Trade qualified (Essential)
• Team player with ability to work autonomously
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Mechanical knowledge
