Job description

Due to rapid expansion of the business, we are currently recruiting Class 1 Tanker drivers for a permanent position at our busy Bridgwater depot. MMI is part of a well-established and well-known international dairy company with a modern and well-looked-after fleet.

The role consists of farm collections, which can be anything from 8 up to 15 collections a day. You may be asked to drive a Class 2 vehicle as and when needed.

Immediate start for successful candidates.

Shifts:

Various start times available on days, afternoons, and nights. The working shift pattern is 6 on 2 off, or 5 on 2 off.

Day pay rates:

1. Monday – Friday: £14.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs: £15.75)
2. Saturday: £15.75
3. Sunday and Bank Holidays: £21.00

Nights pay rates:

1. Monday – Friday: £16.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs: £18.00)
2. Saturday: £18.00
3. Sunday and Bank Holidays: £24.00

What we are looking for:

1. Experience in tanker work preferred.
2. In date DIGI and CPC card.
3. Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful, and organised individual.
4. Must be able to work weekends.
5. Motivated and open to learning new skills.
6. Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

You will be required to collect milk from farms, between 8 and 18 collections per day. 10 hours per shift. Hands-on role. Site operates 24/7, 365 days a year. If your rota falls on bank holidays, they must be worked (for example, Christmas Day). 1 month of training will be provided on tanker collections.
