Heavy Plant Depot Manager / Supervisor

Location: Bristol - Avonmouth
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Company Vehicle & Fuel Card

Are you an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer looking for the next step in your career? Do you have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience with heavy plant machinery?

My Clients are a well-established company with over 40 years of experience in the industry, and we're looking for a Heavy Plant Workshop Manager / Supervisor to oversee our small team of four skilled engineers in their busy Bristol - Avonmouth workshop.

The Role:

1. On-the-tools role while leading a team of 4 engineers.
2. Overseeing repairs, maintenance, and servicing of a fleet of heavy plant machinery, including:
1. Loading Shovels
2. Material Handlers
3. Articulated & Rigid Dump Trucks
4. Hydraulic Excavators
5. And more!
3. Ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency in the workshop.
4. Managing workloads, schedules, and ensuring minimal downtime for the fleet.
5. Liaising with management to plan and implement maintenance strategies.

What We're Looking For:

1. Time-served Heavy Plant Engineer with proven workshop experience.
2. Experience working on brands like CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, JCB, Volvo (or similar).
3. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a small team.
4. Ability to work under pressure and keep the workshop running smoothly.
5. Full UK driving licence required.
