Heavy Machinery Technician
Location: On-site Hungerford
Salary: £25ph
Hours: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our client's team, working on-site in Hungerford. The role involves preparing telehandlers and heavy machinery for customer delivery, including cosmetic touch-ups, functional testing, and completing essential paperwork for the manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect and clean telehandlers and heavy machinery
  2. Perform cosmetic touch-ups and detailing to ensure equipment is ready for delivery
  3. Test and improve machine functions before sending to dealerships
  4. Complete and submit necessary administrative paperwork with accurate spelling and legible handwriting to meet manufacturer standards

Ideal Candidate:
  1. Strong experience working with plant machinery, telehandlers, or heavy equipment
  2. Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
  3. Strong handwriting and spelling abilities are essential for completing reports
  4. Able to work efficiently within a team and independently
