As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be part of an inclusive and supportive team that works collaboratively to provide care and support to 22 adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs at Gregory House in Workington. Your responsibilities will include participating in ward rounds, analyzing behaviors, updating patient records, and assisting with personal care tasks. What you will be doing:
You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends, 40 hours per week.

You will be working at Gregory House, a Learning Disability and Autism service, providing care and support to 22 adults who have a Learning Disability and/or Mental Health needs. The service has an enhanced level of support to allow people with continuing challenging behavior and high support needs to be cared for in the least restrictive setting possible, but within a service which is robust and structured enough to meet their ongoing needs and risks.
