Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (Nursing and Residential Homes)
OneCall24 is a leading healthcare staffing solution, providing highly qualified, experienced medical professionals to both the NHS and Private sector for permanent, contract and temporary positions, specialising in nursing and residential homes across the UK, providing a true 24hr service.
We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants in the Hertfordshire area, for a large number of private Nursing & Residential Homes to fulfil ongoing assignments for Days, Nights and weekend duties.
As a Healthcare Assistant working for OneCall24, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Wash and dress patients
- Communicating with relatives, residents and other members of staff
- Serve meals and assist in feeding
- Moving & positioning
Requirements:
- 6 months Healthcare Assistant experience in the UK in the last 2 years
- Experience in using a hoist
- A valid DBS
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- 6 months experience as a nurse in the last 2 years
- Driver’s Licence and own car (preferred)
- Valid practical manual handling certificate (preferred)
