Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Oncology-Haematology Outpatients here at The London Clinic. We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £25,850- £29,524 per annum.

Main Duties of the Job

  1. Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to patients, recognising their individuality, and promoting privacy and dignity.
  2. Perform and report clinical observations of patients including respiration rate, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and fluid balance.
  3. Assist with patient hygiene, elimination, mobility, physical comfort, eating, drinking, whilst observing and reporting specific changes.
  4. Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, visitors, and other hospital departments.
  5. Assist with the maintenance of ward cleanliness and adhere to The London Clinic policies relating to infection control.
  6. Participate in Unit/Clinic projects.

Our patients come to us for chemotherapy or other related treatments, or to meet with consultants.
