Job Title: Healthcare Assistant – Nursing & Care Homes (HCA)

Location: Plymouth, Devon

Salary: £12.82 - £17 per hour

Contract: Full Time & Part time Agency/Bank

We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants in the Plymouth, Devon area, for a number of nursing and residential homes to fulfil ongoing assignments for Days, Nights and weekend duties.

Responsibilities:
  1. Monitoring patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight
  2. Moving and handling of patients, assisting around the home
  3. Providing personal care, such as washing and personal hygiene
  4. Serving meals and helping to feed patients
  5. Showing compassion, while talking to patients and making them comfortable
