Formed in 2015, Reed Wellbeing has expanded rapidly, developing, and delivering evidence-based lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that help people improve their health. Guided by psychologists, dietitians, physical activity experts and other specialists, our local teams support people to make sustainable, positive behavioural changes using engaging and interactive interventions that address individuals’ needs.
We deliver our services in the heart of communities, working with local public, private and voluntary partners. We currently provide a range of adult health and wellbeing services in over 20 local authorities. Services include diabetes prevention, weight management, physical activity (including GP referral), smoking cessation, intensive personal support, healthy eating and drinking, health checks and other healthy lifestyle promotion, outreach, support and training services – either directly or through trusted partners.

Please note: This is a remote working role with regular travel required to Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster. Therefore, the ideal candidate should reside within close proximity to these areas and be willing to work the occasional weekend or evenings when required.
What the job is about:
The main purpose of the Health & Wellbeing Coach is to deliver group and 1-1 based health & wellbeing services on our Stop Smoking team.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic stop smoking advisor to join our team. Some key duties of the role include providing intensive support for smokers and tobacco users using a combination of pharmacotherapies and behavioural support; accurate record-keeping; and prioritising workload according to the needs of the service.
The successful candidate will have experience in smoking cessation; however, in-house training will be available to those without.
Health & Wellbeing Coaches are assigned to one or more service streams, dependent on the size and complexity of the contract they work on. Coaches will have a primary, secondary and tertiary service stream (as appropriate) with their time allocated to these services according to participant referral flows and associated resourcing needs. Health & Wellbeing Coaches will be provided with appropriate support and development across all service delivery areas.
