Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

• Assist in the development and delivery of health and safety training for employees.

• Investigate accidents and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.

• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the organization remains compliant.

• Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety across the organization.

• Maintain and update safety records and reports.

• Help organize emergency preparedness drills and activities.

Requirements:

• A recent graduate with a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Strong interest in health and safety management and ensuring the well-being of employees.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to think critically and solve problems.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with industry health and safety standards and best practices.

• Experience with risk assessments and safety audits (through internships or academic projects).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
