Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
3. Assist in the development and delivery of health and safety training for employees.
4. Investigate accidents and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
5. Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the organization remains compliant.
6. Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety across the organization.
7. Maintain and update safety records and reports.
8. Help organize emergency preparedness drills and activities.

Requirements:

1. A recent graduate with a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
2. Strong interest in health and safety management and ensuring the well-being of employees.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Detail-oriented with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
6. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Desirable Skills:

1. Familiarity with industry health and safety standards and best practices.
2. Experience with risk assessments and safety audits (through internships or academic projects).
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
