We are seeking a forward-thinking Health and Safety Manager to lead our clients Health and Safety within a dynamic manufacturing environment. We are looking for a strategic leader with hands-on experience and a passion for building a strong safety culture.
Client
Multi-Site Manufacturing company who are expanding on the back of an extremely strong pipeline of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's health and safety policies and systems.
- Ensure full compliance with current legislation and company standards.
- Lead and support site audits, inspections, investigations, and risk assessments.
- Drive a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, and employee engagement.
- Report directly to senior leadership and provide strategic H&S direction.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and implement preventative measures.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and stakeholders as required.
What We're Looking For
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and strong knowledge of UK/EU HSE legislation.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a health & safety leadership role within manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence at all levels, and drive change.
- Experience with ISO 45001 and other relevant safety standards.
- Strong communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
