Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a forward-thinking Health and Safety Manager to lead our clients Health and Safety within a dynamic manufacturing environment. We are looking for a strategic leader with hands-on experience and a passion for building a strong safety culture.

Client

Multi-Site Manufacturing company who are expanding on the back of an extremely strong pipeline of business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's health and safety policies and systems.

  2. Ensure full compliance with current legislation and company standards.

  3. Lead and support site audits, inspections, investigations, and risk assessments.

  4. Drive a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, and employee engagement.

  5. Report directly to senior leadership and provide strategic H&S direction.

  6. Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and implement preventative measures.

  7. Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and stakeholders as required.

What We're Looking For

  1. NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and strong knowledge of UK/EU HSE legislation.

  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a health & safety leadership role within manufacturing or industrial operations.

  3. Proven ability to lead teams, influence at all levels, and drive change.

  4. Experience with ISO 45001 and other relevant safety standards.

  5. Strong communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
